I am happily married, we just celebrated our 14-year anniversary. I am a Mom. Josh, my husband, and I have two boys, 12 and 10. I am a dog owner. We have one mini-poodle puppy dog. We live in a Spanish-style home nestled in the Preserve Mountains in an active community just north of downtown. We love using the mountain as our backyard where we regularly hike, run, and walk our dog. We enjoy all the unexpected encounters with our active neighbors – and our equally active wildlife creatures – along the way.
I am a SoCal gal, born and raised with a family who gave an overabundance of love and attention to my brother and me. I graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 1996 and was quickly introduced to the real estate industry, where I still remain. I earned my career. I started as an assistant to a top producing real estate agent in Beverly Hills, transitioned to being a solo real estate agent, and moved into operational management. Merely 6 years later, I was catapulted into an Executive position for two of the top-10 real estate franchises in the world. 8-years ago I made the decision to leave my corporate life…
What you do not know from the above data points is the important mushy-middle. I was adopted and struggled to find my identity. I had two miscarriages before I had one successful birth. I barely survived the worst economic downturn in our history. I was unhappily married before I was happily married. After temporarily de-prioritizing my children to build a start-up company, I fought to rebuild connection with my family.
8-years ago I achieved everything I wanted and yet I discovered that I was not wholly satisfied or happy. Throughout these pages, I will dissect, explore, and share my journey to a new world in the hopes that you design your own.
